Went on a Ride sponsored by The Dixie Flyers MC and joined with The Christian Motorcycle riders in Madisonville.
Started out at the Dixie Flyers clubhouse (next to Rural King) and rode to Mannington for a Blessing of the bikes.
The weather was around 36 degrees and cloudy.
Around 35 bikes rode.
Nice ride but a little cold at 70 MPH!
I had enough sense to stop at Rural King and get a pull over cap that covered my neck and face to wear under my helmet.
After the ride back to Madisonville, several of the bikers went to Applebees for coffee. I personally wimped out and went home and fired up my kerosene heater!

Was a wonderful day. We had nearly 100% DFMC participation plus a great number of CMA, over 50 bikes at 26 degree weather. Great food at the old clubhouse, traditional New Years Day fixins. What unity we had, and a blessing of the bikes too. WIsh it could have lasted forever.
